I am one of the worlds risk adverse people and crypto has been something I’ve looked at for a while and never pulled the trigger.

A few years back, with help from this site I had XRP, ADA and Sol as ones to invest in. With trumps news these seem a little safer. Obviously it’s still incredibly volatile and I’ll only put in what I’m willing to stake. But any advice for a relative newby to all this would be appreciated.

{Ed033's Note - Remember, the trick is to buy low and sell high, but you can't pick the very top or bottom, so you have to be humble and grateful. This site was originally saying XRP $5-7 would be a good selling price. If you see those numbers, you might want to start selling a percentage of any alt coin crypto you have, XRP above $7 you might want to sell a percentage more. Above $9 more alt coins you have. You can always keep 10% to sell if it goes much higher.

If ultimately XRP reaches $15, this year, you can't be angry with yourself for not holding, because it's hard to know when you've hit the end of a bull run and then prices come back down low and then you wished you had sold a decent percentage of your alt crypto back when XRP was at $5-$7, especially if you bought XRP around $0.50-$0.70 or below.

Let's see what supasub thinks on here, if he wants to reply.

Yes. What Ed said. Nothing has really come to fruition for XRP yet apart from Trump getting voted in.
Still to come just this year alone. The resolution/dropping of the SEC vs Ripple case. Probably by end of May as I think it'll run it's course so that Ripple/XRP is the only crypto with real legal clarity.

ISO20022 messaging was due to start in America 10th March! But has now been pushed back to 14th July (is this to accommodate for the legal outcome of the SEC/Ripple case? I suspect so) . Apparently, Bank of America is already using/trialling XRP for all internal transactions.

All banks globally to go to ISO20022 messaging (including SWIFT) by or ready for Nov 2025.

Japan is rumoured to already be using XRP for up to or around 80% of its banking system since January?

Most of the world's major banks and institutions including SWIFT have trialled XRP over the years.

Bitcoin can be sent across the XRP ledger also. XRP is created to be interoperable with pretty much every major currency, crypto or fiat on the creation of RLUSD. XRP has to be held in order to use RippleUSD.

Note Tether is getting pulled from some exchanges later this month and got refused MICA approval in Europe.

In short XRP has a long way to rise which could happen very quickly. $2.50ish will be peanuts given what it could reach in the next 12-36 months.

XRP is Quantum proof (whatever that means) but it's relevant as didn't Google just create the 1st quantum chip a couple of months ago? Google who have heavily backed HBAR. The WEF have said both HBAR and XRP are "important".

Elon has plans for "X" platform. Rumour is that he wants a crypto wallet on X accounts to enable peer 2 peer payments. Why change the name of twitter to "X" and buy x.com domain? Could be a link up with payments for XRP or XLM or XDC etc or all 3? XRP=Wholesale large transactions, XLM = Retail/p2p and XDC smart contract capability reportedly already being used by US Federal reserve.

Just some relevant info to help make decisions for mid to long term. It would be foolish imo not to attribute a good percentage of any holdings to XRP as imo it is to become the actual real Bitcoin and everything Bitcoin cannot facilitate as its too slow and expensive to move around to become thee global reserve digital currency.

{Ed033's Note - Thanks Supasub.

Just to add, Real world asset tokenisation is growth area in crypto for the future.
Ripple is using a British company Axelar (AXL) to help with tokenisation.
OM (Mantra) has been good for me in recent months.

ONDO is being used by Blackrock for tokenisation (Worlds biggest ownership company/shareholders? ) Go to be one to consider.
Other notable RWA tokens to consider off the top of my head, Pendle, Goldfinch and Realio.

Other American company tokens/coins other than those mentioned above which may be important going forward.
Chainlink, Stellar/XLM and Polkadot.

If I were looking into getting involved today just trying to go of any trustworthy suggestions then I'd have at least half of my holdings in XRP, a good 10% at least of HBAR and a few of the rest.

XRP has been by far the most suppressed crypto of the last 4-5 years giving lots of potential growth. Then you can exit/liquidate bit by bit as the price increases but maybe never completely selling all unless you have to.

{Ed033's Note - Thanks Supasub.

I have seen some posts on this, If you have the time can you explain why this case is so pivotal to not just XRP but the whole crypto market?

I'm also new to crypto but I know the prices are currently low, do you reckon the likes of BTC and ETH get back to their heights? Or is it something to worry about?

I've followed this site a little and know xrp is one to watch out for. I've also read avax may be good to get into.

For a beginner which apps are best?

{Ed033's Note - Trust wallet, Metamask

If ETH goes under 500, that would be a good buy, i thnk. you'd expect both ETH and BTC to get back to All Time Highs at some point in the future.
